> TERMS OF SERVICE (WIP, not valid)
By purchasing a commission from me, you are agreeing to these terms of service.
Please be sure to read it in it's entirety.

I do not guarantee I will work out of business hours regularly. Responses and progress on weekends may be slowed.

1. general

• I do not work with minors on commissioned fursuits & parts, you must be 18 years of age or older to commission me. A photo of a government-issued ID may be required for age verification, ensuring your full name and date of birth are clearly visible.

• I prioritize quality and will not work with low-quality materials for a discount in price.

• I am not responsible for damages or injuries caused by wearing my suits, the use of my work is the client’s responsibility. Some risk is innate to wearing a costume that partially limits vision and mobility, and it is to the discretion of the wearer to be responsible for the safety of themselves and their suit.

• I have a dog who lives indoors, so I cannot guarantee that any product is completely allergen-free because of this. If you have allergies, please keep this in mind. Ultimately, the responsibility lies with the client & wearer.

• These terms are subject to change.

2. Payment & Quotes

• When you’re ready to start the commission process, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of your total quote is required. This deposit covers the materials needed to begin building your fursuit, and I will only start work after receiving this initial payment.

• The non-refundable deposit must be paid immediately before any non-digital work begins.

• Payment plans that extend two or more months past the agreed-upon deadline may be subject to a price adjustment. If my prices change during that period, your project price will be updated accordingly

• If the full payment isn't received by the agreed-upon date, your commission could be either postponed (and de-prioritized until the payment's corrected) or canceled depending on the circumstances. I reserve the right to cancel commissions due to delayed or missed payments. If three or more payments are missed, the commission will be cancelled and the fursuit will be re-purposed.

• Payments can be made through PayPal or Etsy. If you are from New Zealand, you also have the option to pay via bank transfer. If none of these options work for you, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss alternative arrangements.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

• Commissioners have the right to cancel a commission at any time. Refund amounts will depend on the stage of completion of the commission.

• I retain the right to decline or cancel a commission at any stage; refunds being provided.

Most refunds will not include the 50% deposit; a full refund is only possible if materials have not yet been purchased.

• The remaining 50% must be paid in 3 months or sooner.

• If a commission is refunded or canceled, I reserve the right to re-purpose and re-sell the work, with alterations to remove any major resemblance to your character.

• I will not complete a commission once it has been canceled or refunded.

• I will not progress on any suit with missing payment deadlines; your commission will be on hold until payments are up to date.

• If the commissioner is unable to be contacted for 6 weeks (without notice or given reason), the commission will be considered abandoned. The project will be treated like a canceled commission and re-purposed.

• I do not provide refunds for damages caused by the wearer or shipping courier.

• If my Terms of Service are violated, the commission will be terminated. Re-funds are dependent on the severity of violation.

4. Concept art

• I do not work with copyrighted characters that you do not own the rights of.

• A visual reference of your character is required; written descriptions will not work for me (unless you're opting for a creative liberty suit—those are an exception).

• Your reference sheet should be a non-shaded, digital artwork which includes:

      - A color palette with all colors for the character.

      - Two to three views of your character (front view, side view, and possibly a back view)

      - Unobstructed view of any body part or important details

(e.g. if they have hair that covers their eyes, please have a version without hair for reference)

      - All important limbs & features are visible and clear on the reference sheet (including tongues, claws, eyes, paw pads, tails.)

      - Any important text must be in a readable font and size.

• References I cannot accept include:

      - References with nudity or any explicit or suggestive content.

      - AI generated reference sheets or character designs.

      - Heavily shaded references

      - Traditionally drawn references.

• If you decide on redesigns or changes after production has started, additional costs may apply, and it may extend the timeline. I’m not responsible for any delays or extra fees due to design changes made mid- or post-production.

• If you've already color-matched specific furs, minky, or other fabrics you’d like for your suit (no worries if you haven’t; it’s not a requirement), I’d be happy to use the fabric of your choice! Just let me know while discussing materials.

*Please keep in mind that I do not work with low-quality materials to reduce commission costs; I won’t use fun fur or craft-store minky. I recommend BigZfabric and Howlsfabric as high-quality fur suppliers if you'd like to pick your own colors

• Please use standard file formats like .png, .pdf, .jpg, or .gif for your reference files. I’m unable to accept .tgz, .app, .dmg, .doc, .sys, or .zip files due to potential security risks.

5. progress & updates

• I’ll send you progress photos as I work on your suit so you can stay updated and ensure everything is coming together just as you envisioned! You're always welcome to request updates, photos, or close-ups of your commission.

• I encourage you to provide feedback or request any adjustments to your suit, such as modifications to markings or necessary fixes. If any parts need correction, I’m more than happy to make those changes to ensure the final piece meets your expectations. If you can let me know about any alterations as soon as possible, it helps prevent delays or extra costs down the line.

• While I can’t guarantee daily updates, you can expect at minimum weekly progress reports and photos.

• During the production process, your fursuit may be photographed or worn for demonstration and promotional purposes. These photos may be shared publicly on my website and social medias. Rest assured, the fursuit will be washed afterward, and I can tag your social media accounts in any posted photos upon request.

6. Turnarounds & time estimates

• Please remember that time estimates are just that—estimates. They don’t set a deadline, sometimes things can take a bit longer than expected, especially if the design is particularly complex or unique.

• If you need your suit by a certain date, feel free to let me know! I’ll do my best to accommodate, but I can't guarantee completion by a specific time. At the moment I don’t accept hard deadlines or offer fixed completion dates, including for conventions. This policy helps ensure that the quality of my work isn’t compromised by rushing.

• Once your suit is handed off to the shipping courier, I’m not responsible for any delays that may happen during transit.

• Keep in mind that some materials can take a while to arrive to New Zealand. For example, fur shipments might take up to 3-4 weeks to get here after ordering. If you need faster shipping, many suppliers offer expedited shipping (usually shortening it to 1.5-2 weeks) at an additional cost, which will be reflected in the commission price.

• If there are any delays or unexpected issues on my end, I’ll be sure to inform you as soon as possible.

7. Postage

• The commissioner is responsible for all shipping costs, including any optional insurance or faster shipping they may prefer.

• Shipping for custom fursuits is charged after the suit is completed. Since shipping rates can change frequently, it's best to wait until your fursuit is finished to have an accurate size and weight for the final package before determining the shipping cost.

International customers are responsible for all currency exchange fees and any taxes/tarifs that may apply in your country.

• Any damage, loss, or delays during shipping & transport is the responsibility of the shipping courier.

• Shipping fees must be covered before I send any of your commission to you.

8. Warrenty and repairs (after suit completion)

• Your commission comes with a 90-day warranty for repairs and alterations. During this period, minor adjustments like popped seams or fit corrections are covered, with no fees aside from shipping. Larger adjustments that require new fabric or foam will have an extra fee to cover the material expenses.

• This warranty does not cover cleaning obligations. I am not responsible for removing stains, dirt, or sweat from use by the client on any commissions or premade items. If you are sending an item back for alterations, please make sure it’s clean and dry. Items returned in a dirty condition will incur a cleaning fee, or in extreme cases, be sent back without repairs.

• Please treat your fursuit with care; excessive, rough use can lead to damage. I do not take responsibility for any damages that occurs once the suit is in your possession or during shipping. After the 3-month warranty period, the ongoing maintenance of your suit will be your responsibility.

• If you ever need a refurb, suits made by me are eligible for a discount on refurbishing prices. Whether it’s a full overhaul or just fixing a bald spot after years of love, I’m always happy to give my creations a fresh update!

• Commissioners will still be responsible for paying for materials and shipping of repairs.
